TWO MAGI
These two Magi carvings were commissioned for two friends to be added to earlier commissioned carvings for a Nativity Scene. Each Magi carving is the same Magi even though each one has features that make each one unique and distinct in their own right. The BLUES BROTHERS are the latest edition of the WOOD BEE CARVER Signature Series knives made by HELVIE KNIVES. In the two photos above, the top knife in each photo were the first to be designed and developed. The BUZZ BEE in the left photo and the BUSY BEE is in the right photo. WHITTLE DWARF Tutorial
WHITTLE DWARF TUTORIAL is now available as a PDF document under BEE HIVE in the right column of the Home Page of this blog. All items in the BEE HIVE are instructional PDF documents that can be viewed on the computer as well as printed.
Rich Smithson of HELVIE KNIVES created the wood burned art work on a commemorative HELVIE knife that shows off his dual artistic talents of wood burned art and knife craftsmanship.
