WHITTLE DOODLE                BUCKEYE ROUND UP

The Buckeye Whittle Doodle is a friendship cane segment that will be combined with other carved segments to be auctioned at the Buckeye Woodcarving Round Up at Poor Farmers Campground east of Piqua, Ohio July 20 – 23, 2016.

A Whittle Doodle is doodling with a knife on a block of wood with a variety of subjects that serve the purpose of the novelty of Whittle-Carving.  The panoramic photographic display gives an around the cube view of the complete cane segment.  Doodling is a fun way to exercise free spirit creativity in an informal manner.

“Whittling enables us to find ourselves & loose ourselves at the same time.”
