UNCLE SAM Knife Holder was carved for Rich Smithson and Helvie Knives to be included with a knife presentation and other Uncle Sam carvings by some CCA members that Helvie Knives was donating at the recent Charlotte, NC show.  The photo below was taken at the Charlotte Show.

What better time to post photos of this interpretation of Uncle Sam than the July 4^th holiday. This five inch by three inch bust was Whittle-Carved by the Wood Bee Carver using Helvie knives. A slot was carved into the top of the hat to receive the blade of a commemorative knife made by Rich.  Happy Independence Day ~ July 4.
