Dale Kirkpatrick is a very talented carver who takes on challenging projects in order to challenge himself to do his best while improving as he does so. He carves a variety of subjects and may be best known for carving wooden thread spools.
Here are two of his most recent adventures in “Spool Art” which he carved using mostly a knife to carve a gnome and a hobbit in inch and half tall wooden thread spools. Carving wooden thread spools is not an easy medium in which to carve and yet Dale has carved a niche for himself and my admiration. May your admiration grow as well as you view the intricacy of each carving? Thank you Dale for your creative art in woodcarving. To visit his blog Click on this hot link Dale Kirkpatrick
