SCIMITAR BLADE SHAPE
Three knives made by Ralph E. Long that have an upsweep blade shape or scimitar blade shape (the top two are WH-8 and the bottom is WH-9 in Ralph’s catalog code). A much longer version of three to four inches is sometimes called “tupelo” to refer to blade shape used in slicing action in carving decoys out of tupelo wood.
