These look a lot like a knife I made that was designed based on the “Skinny Sloyd” knife. The blade is about 2″ long and I ground it down from a Henckels kitchen paring knife.

I have to say that in my not all too experienced opinion, that it is the easiest and most versatile style knife that I have ever used.

The blade shape allows you to do practically anything you can do with a straight-edged AND a whole lot more.
