WESTERN ARTIST – Lynn O. Doughty

Lynn Doughty  of Jay, Oklahoma will be honored and recognized with a one man show at the Woolaroc Museum,  Bartlesville, OK November 23, 2012 through January 6, 2013.  Lynn is well known in woodcarving circles for his very unique caricature carvings with a Western theme.

Through  http://outwestwoodcarving.blogspot.com/   which contains not only a progressive photo gallery but also instructional videos of each of his carving subjects and projects, Lynn has been an inspiration to woodcarvers around the world.   Using the genre of caricature carving, Lynn has elevated his style of caricature carving into his own unique style of Western Art.
